How it works
From application to first working day. Screening and paperwork take time — count on one week to two months, depending on how quickly the certificate of conduct is issued.
Step by step
- 1. Apply
Fill in the application form. Tell us your study programme, your available period and the number of days per week. - 2. Complete the introduction
Take the free DIVD Academy Introduction so you know what we do and how we work. - 3. Intake meeting
We plan a short online meeting to match your learning goals to a project. You can book it yourself via our booking page. - 4. Certificate of conduct (VOG)
You receive an email from Justis to request a free certificate of conduct. The digital version is fastest; a photo of the paper version also works. - 5. Agreement
You, your school and DIVD Academy sign the internship agreement, which includes our code of conduct. - 6. Accounts
You receive a Google Workspace invitation, set up two-factor authentication (mandatory) and activate your Slack account. - 7. Onboarding
You get the handbook, meet your practical supervisor and your project team, and introduce yourself in Slack. - 8. Start
You begin contributing. Progress meetings and the phase meeting with your school are planned along the way.
